In 2023, we changed our name to reflect our work (and also to stop being confused for another rural organization!). We're still here to build engagement and education in rural Oregon. We embrace rational, civic-minded rural values by modeling inclusion, respect, and fairness, and empowering rural people to advocate for solutions that work for our communities.
Preventing Suicide
We're working with a bipartisan group of legislators to help prevent suicides in rural communities.
Public Banking
We've partnered with the Oregon Public Banking Alliance and Legal Working Group to bring public banking to Oregon, specifically for the money it will bring into rural communities.
Volunteer Organizing and Recruitment
We can place trained organizers on the ground to recruit, train and manage volunteers long-term around an advocacy campaign.
